These beautiful abstract Wood Dragon pendants are available in 2 designs and 2 sizes.
Also, see Wood Dragon Earrings for a complete set.
Key rings are coming soon.

2024 – the Year of the Wood Dragon. I have created some unique and abstract pendants that are perfect gifts for those who embody the dragon’s qualities. These pendants are laser cut and handcrafted, and can also be used as talisman gifts to manifest abundance in 2024. There are two designs available in two different sizes, each with a thin plain cord or a thicker cord in either red, black, or coffee colour. Additionally to the thicker cords, you can choose from silver charms or different round stone balls in red, green, or tiger-eye. These pendants start at just $35AUD.

The dragon is considered the most auspicious animal in the Chinese zodiac, representing strength, wisdom, luck, and prosperity. Each dragon is associated with one of the five elements – wood, fire, earth, metal, or water – which gives them different traits and fates.

The Wood Dragon, born in 1964 or 2024, is considered the most creative and visionary of the dragons. They are optimistic, ambitious, and adventurous, always eager to explore new ideas and challenge themselves. They are also known to be compassionate, generous, and loyal to their friends.

The Year of the Wood Dragon 2024 is expected to be a time of visionary leaders, innovators, and problem solvers. The fixed element of the Dragon is Earth, representing stability, honesty, and loyalty. The variable element of the Dragon in 2024 is Yang Wood, representing growth, creativity, and flexibility. Therefore, 2024 is predicted to be a great year to start new projects, explore new opportunities, and create value for yourself and others.

While visiting one of these eclectic bars we were served prosecco in these wonderful traditional champagne glasses.
With my iPhone set to portrait mode>stage-light, I took some really nice shots. These are the results. These are ‘as-shot’ on the iPhone, with just a tickle in edit mode. The glasses feel very vintage, so I took them in the glorious ‘Art-Deco’ era with the addition of some fun quotes to create a retro fun poster feeling.
So why not pour yourself a glass of your favourite bubbles and reflect on the quotes.

The early morning mist shrouds the famous statue of David, by famous artist and sculptor Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, known simply as Michelangelo. This ethereal representation is an enhanced image I took in Firenze (Florence), Italy in 2015.

The history of the statue of David begins before Michelangelo’s work on it from 1501 to 1504.
With a height of 5.17 metres (17 ft), the David was the first colossal marble statue made in the early modern period following classical antiquity, a precedent for the 16th century and beyond.

The biblical figure David was a favoured subject in the art of Florence. Because of the nature of the figure it represented, the statue soon came to symbolise the defence of civil liberties embodied in the 1494 constitution of the Republic of Florence, an independent city-state threatened on all sides by more powerful rival states and by the political aspirations of the Medici family.
